Nadi Shodhana & Cultivating Self-Love
This session is about embracing your shadow side and cultivating self-love. But first, the breathing exercise.
We’ll be doing an exercise called Nadi Shodhana. It’s focused on balancing the energy flow through the two sides of your body, your feminine and masculine sides.
- Take 5 minutes for this breathwork meditation
- Find a comfortable seat
- Press play
When you’re ready, let’s go to the writing exercise.
- What shadow side do you want to embrace?
- And, how has it helped you?
- Now, write a letter of permission to yourself. Make a list of all the things, related to your shadow side, that you are allowed to feel. For example: “I am allowed to be afraid. I am allowed to be chaotic. I am allowed to say no. I am allowed to grieve. I am allowed to be angry. I am allowed to take time for myself.”
